ELAINE REGUS is an experienced, versatile and creative writer and editor. Her clients include some of the leading colleges and universities in the Southern California region and a growing list of business and manufacturing concerns.

Before starting her own freelance writing and editing business in September 2008, Elaine had a distinguished career at a mid-sized Southern California daily newspaper.

As the higher education reporter, Elaine researched and wrote about trends in higher education and provided day-to-day coverage of a half dozen public and private colleges and universities in the region. She developed strong relationships with her sources based on fair, accurate and comprehensive reporting and writing.

As an assistant metro editor, Elaine exhibited and was rewarded for her initiative and leadership while supervising various teams of reporters throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties.  Her editing experience required the coordination of multiple elements among various departments to produce a comprehensive communications package.

Elaine holds a master's degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton, and a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California, Riverside.
